Aerial Yoga class policy- If a student is unable to attend an aerial class that they have already signed up for, they must cancel the class at least four hours prior to the class or incur a $15.00 late cancel fee.

Firefly Vinyasa Flow- This all-levels class incorporates breathing and poses into a gentle moving sequence during which poses are held for several seconds to allow your body the time it needs to get familiar with the posture and fully experience the wonderful benefits. Students will leave feeling stretched, strengthened, and relaxed. The class may also include balancing postures, moderate twists, backbends, and basic arm balances, as well as supportive breathwork and the use of props to enhance access to postures. This is an all-levels class that is especially perfect for beginners.
Firefly Power Flow- An impressive blend of sun salutations, standing poses, twists, core work, and seated poses designed to get you moving and strengthen your core. This class is perfect for any students who are looking to flow, twist, move, and develop a smart core-centered body. This is an all levels class.
Firefly Restore & Reset - With a little gentle flow and a touch of restoration, this class will take students on a journey through light poses, seated yin poses, and various other poses utilizing bolster, blocks, blankets, and straps. This class is specially focused on strengthening and stretching the body, relaxing the mind, and soothing the spirit. Students will be provided a safe and welcoming place to enjoy these benefits. This is an all-levels classan all-levels class.
Yoga Pilates Fusion - Yoga combined with Pilates makes for an exciting core-centric exercise! Students will learn the principles of Mat pilates, which is a core-based exercise method that helps to balance the body and improve posture. This class incorporates both Vinyasa flow poses and core exercises that reach deep abdominal muscles (for movement and stability) while also attending to proper alignment, breathing, mental focus, flexibility, and overall strength. This is an all-levels class.
Firefly Slow Flow - This class combines Slow Vinyasa Flow, restorative poses, both seated stretching and meditation, and finally a culmination in Savasana. Students will experience the standing portion of the class at a slow-flowing pace meant to lubricate the body and mind, while the second half of the class will focus on gentle stretches. Sessions are held in the evening by candlelight. This is an all-levels class.
Vin + Yin - Having a hard time deciding between a warming and strengthening Vinyasa class or a deep stretch yin class? No need to fret — Firefly's got your back! Our Vin/Yin class is 25 minutes of heavenly Vinyasa flow designed to warm the body and strengthen the muscles, followed by an additional 25 minutes of deep yin stretches (long-held relaxed floor poses to stretch and stimulate the deep connective "yin" tissues of the body). Concluding with a session of Savasana, it's the perfect way to find balance in the body, mind, and spirit. This is an all-levels class. Yin & Yoga Nidra- Our Yin + Yoga Nidra class begins with 20 minutes of Yin Yoga postures to help students stretch, relax and unwind. Yin Yoga is a meditative practice that works in conjunction with the deep connective tissues of the body, while also relaxing and lengthening the muscles. Seated poses are typically held for 2-3 minutes each. Students will then transition to Yoga Nidra (or Dream Yoga) where they will experience a state of extreme relaxation through guided meditations intended to bring forth the state in between consciousness and sleeping. Commonly referred to as “lying down meditation” or “the sleep of the yogis”, Yoga Nidra is a deep guided relaxation. This is an all-levels class.
Aerial Yoga Classes
Aerial Yoga Basics- Are you interested in taking an aerial yoga class but feeling apprehensive or unsure? Is this whole "yogi" thing still a pretty new concept? Then Firefly has got just the introduction class for you. In this unique style of yoga, students will get the opportunity to explore some familiar shapes and postures in new planes while at the same time building strength and flexibility. After a centering warm-up exercise, students will transition through grounded poses utilizing the support of the hammock to build upper body & core strength. Finally, students will cool down with some restorative stretches and a blissful Savasana floating in the silk. This class focuses on safety and proper alignment while using the hammock as a tool for creating space in the body and allows for deeper stretches. This is an all-levels class. All Levels Aerial Yoga - Elevate your yoga practice to the next level! Coupled with the support of an aerial silk hammock, students will undertake this unique brand of yoga and explore some familiar shapes and postures in new planes while building strength and flexibility — and also learning to bend a bit deeper and invert with ease. After a centering warm-up, students will move through poses designed to build upper body & core strength and then proceed to a cool-down session with some restorative stretches and a blissful Savasana floating in the silk. This class focuses on safety and proper alignment while using the hammock as a tool for creating space in the body and decompressing the spine while suspended/supported in the hammock. This is an all-levels class.
